To keep your premium teak furniture looking beautiful for years to come, simply care for it with gentle, regular maintenance. Dust frequently and clean occasionally using a lightly damp cloth, avoiding harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may affect the timber’s natural finish. Wipe spills promptly and protect surfaces from excessive moisture, direct heat and prolonged sunlight to maintain the richness of the wood over time. Teak naturally develops character with age, allowing the timber’s unique grain and beauty to shine through.  Our teak furniture has been fine-sanded resulting in a natural matte finish and at any time can be lightly re-sanded with a hand held orbital sander to restore the timber surface to new if desired. All bedside and table top surfaces have been treated with Teak Shield to assist prevention of food and drink stains, water and moisture from penetrating into teak.
